Dr. Cowan completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University, graduating with honors and with distinction in biology. He received his medical degree with honors also from Stanford University School of Medicine, and his urology specialty training was completed at Stanford University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in prostate medicine and ultrasound at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Cowan takes care of all forms of urologic diseases and problems, with a special interest in urologic oncology, prostate diseases, stone diseases, incontinence and infertility. He has particular expertise in microscopic and laser surgery and is committed to providing state-of-the-art care in a compassionate fashion. He is board certified in urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
