Dr. Galansky completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 1973 with a bachelor of science degree with honors in chemistry. He remained at the University of Florida and earned his medical degree in 1977. He then completed his Urology residency at the University of Colorado in 1982. He was board certified in Adult and Pediatric Urology in 1984.

Dr. Galansky founded Urology Associates, P.C, in 1987. He has been a very active member of the Urologic Community in the Denver Metropolitan area. He is a Clinical Professor of Urology and Surgery at the University of Colorado and The Children's Hospital where he serves on their teaching faculties.

Dr. Galansky has extensive experience in General Urology, including Urologic Oncology, and has special interest and expertise in Pediatric and Reconstructive Urology. Dr. Galansky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Urology and the American Academy of Pediatric Urology.

Since entering private practice, Dr. Galansky has served on the Medical Board of The Children's Hospital and has also been the Chairman of Urology of the medical staffs of Porter and Swedish Hospitals.
